Advice on use and maintenance
Grease the plate each time you use it and between series of crepes. After use, once the crepe maker has cooled, clean the plate with a moist, soft sponge. The enamelled cast steel plate requires no seasoning.
To ensure that the spreader (rozell) is safe for food contact, no glue is used in its construction. To fix the handle to the spreader, assemble both parts and immerse them in water for a few minutes. This will allow the wood to swell and join the parts together.
