The Armen electric crepe maker is the latest model in the Krampouz range of traditional crepe makers. With its enamelled cast-iron plate, Armen does away with the need for seasoning. Named after the famous Breton lighthouse, this is the crepe maker par excellence for crepe enthusiasts looking for long-lasting ready-to-use convenience.

As a nod to Breton gastronomy, Armen comes in a luminous “crepe batter” color that will shine in any kitchen.

Armen benefits from the same traditional design as the Billig crepe maker. Designed and handcrafted in Brittany, it incorporates Krampouz’s emblematic know-how, a guarantee of performance: a serpentine resistance integrated into the enamelled cast-iron griddle for optimum heat distribution, rapid temperature rise and precise adjustment up to 300 °C.

Advice on use and maintenance

The enamelled cast-iron griddle is ready to use.

Preheat crepe maker to 220°C. Lightly grease the griddle before each use, then every 2-3 crepes. After each use, if a fat deposit forms, lightly press the abrasive stone on the warm plate to remove the deposit and restore the plate to its original appearance. Wipe clean with a damp sponge and cloth.

To ensure that the spreader (rozell) is safe for food contact, no glue is used in its construction. To fix the handle to the spreader, assemble both parts and immerse them in water for a few minutes. This will allow the wood to swell and join the parts together.
