Horned tomatoes with homegrown herbs

  • 2 horned tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 pinches of fresh thyme
  • 2 pinches of fresh oregano
  • 12 coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt of Guerande
  • Ground black pepper
Recipe realized with the follow Krampouz product :

– Cut the garlic into thin strips.
– Cut the tomatoes in two lengthwise.
– Prick the tomato flesh with the garlic and cover with the herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
– Cook over low heat on the griddle the tomato flesh side for 5 min.
– Return and drizzle them with olive oil. Cook for 5 minutes on the skin side.

The tomatoes can go well with lamb chops or tuna cooked on the griddle.
